Rabindra Sangeet: Timeless Classics is a curated compilation of the most beloved songs penned and composed by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Released in 2021, the album brings together celebrated vocalists from across the Indian subcontinent, each offering a fresh yet reverent take on Tagore’s lyrical poetry and melodic brilliance. The collection spans devotional hymns, romantic ballads, and nature-inspired pieces, showcasing the versatility of Tagore’s oeuvre and its enduring resonance in contemporary music. The album was met with critical acclaim for its faithful yet innovative arrangements, blending traditional Indian classical instrumentation with subtle modern touches. Highlights include “Ekla Chalo Re” rendered by Shreya Ghoshal, “Amar Shonar Bangla” performed by Arijit Singh, and the soulful rendition of “Bojhena Se” by Kumar Sanu.
